We were thrilled to host an engaging training course with the world-class karateka Charlie Collins on Sunday, June 8, 2025. Charlie delivered a session that was not only enjoyable but also rich in knowledge, leaving participants enthusiastic and eager for similar events in the future.
The three-hour course offered a comprehensive blend of theory and practice, enabling attendees to enhance their skills through interactive sparring sessions. Participants received invaluable feedback and guidance from both Charlie and our Chief Referee, Farouk Younes, ensuring a supportive learning environment. This hands-on experience fostered confidence and improvement in technique, making the event a resounding success. The positive energy in the room was palpable, and many attendees left with a renewed passion for their sport and new friendships forged through shared learning experiences.

Sankukai Scotland - A Customised Course with Charlie Collins, WUKF World Champion
and Farouk Younes, WUKF Chief Referee and FEKO Chief Referee
On Saturday 29 November 2025, FEKO supported a customised kumite training and referee training course for Sankukai Scotland. The course, spanning almost the all day was comprehensive exploring theory and practice, not only in kumite techniques but in refereeing.
It was clear that the two Trainers had a level of expertise that they were able, not only to deliver key aspects but to encourage and enable those present to practice under their effective supervision.
The participants appeared to thoroughly enjoy the day and feedback was very positive.
