Squad Training 2 August 2009
There was an excellent turn out for this squad training with over 40 FEKO registered students and several potential referees/judges. The training was, as always, intense and it was really pleasing to see several students training in kata with Steve Quinn as well as in kumite. One of the highlights of the training was the practice for Rotation Team Kumite.
The following were selected to represent FEKO at the forthcoming Carlow Championships: Maddison Moore, Amy Wright-Hamilton, Jodie Ritchie, Chris Plant, Aaron Haywood, David Bowater, Scott Reynolds, Luke Thompson
At the end of the training Dr Johnson presented certificates to the our Referees and Competitors who represented FEKO at the recent World Karate Championships
Squad Training 6 September 2009
The end of the holidays meant that attendance was not as high as hoped but the turn out for this session was still very good. This was an additional session giving those entering in the forthcoming FEKO Championships and being considered for other FEKO representation a chance to be put through their paces under the watchful eye of Dr Josh Johnson.
