There is a strict code of conduct laid down by the Criminal Records Bureau to which all Instructors dealing with children and vulnerable adults should now be CRB checked for disclosure. Parents, hall hirers and in many cases Insurance companies are now asking if this has been done. Only serious crimes in the past will result in a bar from instructing children and all offences are regulated by the Rehabilitation of Offender Act (ROA) 1974.
